What are the latest CV layouts of the Peugeot and Land Rover in the UK?

Does anyone know what are the latest CV layouts of the Peugeot and Land Rover ( Range Rover) in the UK? I have been asked to search for this info by someone and I know nothing about cars. Where can I find this information or online UK dealerships? Cheers!|||Over here a CV is a constant velocity joint and is the thingy that enables the engine to be kept still while the wheels and other parts move round it. They are usually made in a cruciform and contained in a rubber boot. These are usually bought as a part and fitted directly onto the drive shafts, so no plan is required.|||Not a clue what you mean: What's a CV layout?

How much will it cost to repair Peugeot 306 (X) electrics?

I have a Peugeot 306 (X) and I think the electrics may need repairing - the indicators and lights don't work, but the car starts, runs fine and the electric windows, CD player and wipers work fine. It may just be the indicator stick next the drivers wheel that needs replacing/fitting properly. If I took it to a garage to be repaired, what price should I be looking at and willing to accept. Thanks.|||I wouldn't bother spending more than a hundred maybe two hundred quid on it because otherwise you may end up spending more than the car is worth. I don't think it will cost that much however but the problem with electronics though is that you simply cannot diagnose what the actual problem is without seeing the car in front of you. It could well be just a fuse which costs pennies (in parts and should take about ten seconds to fix), it could be one of the little box components which costs a fiver or so (in parts but identifying it may be tricky if you cannot see a melted component), or it could be that you have degraded wiring all throughout the car which would be much more expensive. My best guess would be a fuse for your lights which is easy enough to fix on your own but a garage will do for next to nothing.|||if i remember rightly the light switch is on the indicator stalk %26amp; it is quite common for them to play up. it is not a hard job to change the switch. i would google "find a part" and get a second hand one. if i was replacing it i would charge no more than 3/4 hour

good luck|||Which lights don't work? Do the Hazards work?

How much can i get for my Peugeot 306 cabriolet?

Ive got a peugeot 306 cabriolet for sale its silver, in good condition inside and out, N reg 1995 and turns a few heads!

I read in a newspaper recently that its become a bit of a classic and could be worth quite a small fortune? Was wondering if anyone knew how much?|||It depends on its condition and history more than anything.

If you have a full service history with it and lots of bills / receipts to show its cared for then that's good and would signal a cared for car.

If it has not had many owners then that would also be good as would having the original documents.

The word 'classic' itself is used to often in automotive circles - however your car (designed by Pinifarina no less) would be a desirable model from the 90's Peugeot range.

As a rough guide with a fairly low mileage you could expect around 拢1,200 from a private sale at the moment.

This depends of course on condition, history and if a low mileage could be ssubstantiated

I doubt very much, however, that these would drop their price any further in years to come and would expect a slight increase for a good example over the years.|||Let us know what it sold for.....

|||Europeans don't really care too much for a Peugeot that is old. Even the 504 cabrio doesn't bring that much money. (maybe 7000 pounds? with left hand steering)

Parts and rust are the killers. The older a Peugeot, the more they GOUGE you on parts. And the M.O.T isn't kind or sentimental.

The person that would pay the most for your car is someone who had that same car LONG AGO...when he was 20-something years old. (too soon) Your 1995 car will be worth more, when that 25 year old guy is 50 and has some money to burn.

so....wait until 2020 and keep your Peugeot nice until then.

Remember..all the Peugeots made at the Ryton plant in England were SO GOOD.....that they closed the plant.|||contact your local Peugeot Dealers to see how much they will offer. You will now have a rough idea about the selling price.

What is the water capacity of a peugeot 207 cooling system?

I have had a damaged radiator on my peugeot and lost all the coolant from the engine. I now need to refill it and need to know how much water and anti freeze to add, I need a 50/50 mix. If you can help it would be of great help. Cheers Mike.|||stick 1.5 ltrs in it then top up with water that will do|||Have a look in the owners manual under routine maintenance. should be in there somewhere in the book . Or just phone main dealer they will tell you straight away. you will need more than 1.5 ltrs. most cooling systems are around 5-6 ltrs so reckon on 3l water 3l anti-freeze this is a GUESS. Especially in this cold weather.
