Does anyone know how to fix electrics in a peugeot 306?

My peugeot 306 has several things that don't work on it. . . .central locking, interior lights (works when manually switched on but not when you open door) passenger side electric window (works when controlled by driver controls) cigarette lighter, the clock, and the controls next the steering wheel that change the radio. I have checked all the fuses and they are working! any clues as how to fix?|||There have been a lot of tips right here on Yahoo answers. I read everything about Peugeots.

1. door problems. cables inside door hinge area get kinked and broken after several years. Check the wiring loom where it passes the hinge area.

2. GROUND wires can account for many electrical failures. In damp areas, the ground-to-body corrodes.

Your cigarette lighter and anything else NOT controled when the key is out, could be a problem inside the key ignition barrel. This is fusebox feed C, and is grounded after passing fuse 28 (15 amps). Even though you see your fuses are good...Is there any current passing through it? Check.

3. Central locking....somebody said the sensor for this is in the roof, under the radio antenna. Rain water enters to disrupt the locking remote sensor. Remove inner roof panel and check for dampness.

4. Clock and cigarette lighter have ground problems, I think. Do they work when you apply 12 volts directly to the devices? Cigarette lighter heating elements don't last forever. Is there 12 volts in the empty hole? Check with voltmeter or test lamp of 12 volts.

Search for anything here that has ''Peugeot 306'' in the question. Read them all.

Cwboy's Bi.....you've lost weight !|||There's only one way to fix the electrics in a Peugeot -- you will need a liter of petrol and and a road flare.....
