What would happen if a wheel bearing went in my peugeot 306?

What would happen if a wheel bearing went in my peugeot 306and i didnt get it replaced straight away?|||I put a couple thousand miles on a bad wheel bearing in my 88 escort. It make a lot of thunk.thunk.thunk.thunk noise and eventually seized. When it seized the hub was spinning in the bearing which ruined the hub. Cost of bearing: about $8 cost of hub $55. It's your car and your call, but I wouldn't risk more damage for $8.|||It depends what you mean by 'went'. If it actually 'went' as in let go, the wheel bearing would collapse and you could very easily lose control of the vehicle and crash. It really isn't worth risking it, if you have been advised that a bearing is going get it done immediately. You will be responsible if you seriously injure or kill someone and it really could happen. Also if you were involved in an accident the investigators would examine your car and you'd be in a lot of trouble.|||id get it repaired asap





as above if it collapses you gonna do alot of damage and lose control





its only cheap to get it repaired mate|||you would,nt be going anyplace. the bearing would be freezing up with you.|||Best to get it fixed as it will cost you in the end.
