i have a 2000 peugeot 106. (Zest 2). i have a problem with the speedo as it will be fine some days when i drive, and others it will either pick up no reading, or it has sed that i have been doing 70mph when i have been only doin 30mph. what would the problem be?
is there a transducer? or is it a cable?|||not to sure on pug if its cable or electronic,if its cable,where it attaches to the gear box, the cable end plate gets worn,so it skips/misses making the speedo needle jump,bounce etc. if its electronic, 9 times out of 10 the speedo sender unit is faulty, just a case of unplugging and replacing with new one
