How easy is it to fit an aerial on a Peugeot 206?

My girlfriend has just been quoted 拢16 + VAT to have her aerial re-fitted on her Peugeot 206. It hasn't snapped off, someone had a go at it which loosened the bolt and it became so loose that the bolt fell off.

Pesumably it's just a case of exposing the underside of the aerial fitting and screwing thre bolt back on? Presumably again you get at that by removing the courtesy light? Is this correct and how easy is it to remove the courtesy light? Does it just lever out or is there a technique?

Personally I think 拢16 (+VAT) is extortionate for what appears to be a simple job!

Many thanks in advance!|||You are correct. Save yourself some money and give it a try. If you are unable to, you already know how much it will cost.|||Unfortunately it is a notorious and devastatingly laborious process requiring 10 men with skills and knowledge of Stephen Hawkins on steroids,|||I reckon 16 quid is about the minimum a garage would charge for writing out an invoice and taking your money. You have to balance the risk of trying and causing some damage in the attempt or paying up and letting them take responsibility for a done job. It must be leaking if loose and probably the nut is hanging on the wire now. You have already sussed out half the problem - just expose your girlfriends underside and see if you can get it screwed up tight. Courtesy light will be made so you can replace the bulb so check out that bit first in the manual.
